This traditional Welsh Cottage is located on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National park easily accessed from the M4 at J25a for Newport ( approx 4 to 5 Miles) and is ideal for visiting Abergavenny (9 miles), Usk ( 8 miles), Cardiff (12 miles ), Chepstow ( 9 miles) for the racing , and the smaller Roman town of Caerleon and the World Heritage site at Blaenavon and on up to Ebbw Vale.
With Beautiful Views over the Bristol Channel and behind to Mynnydd Maen and with further views over the Usk Valley and Monmouthshire from the farm this beautiful Welsh cottage is set in a very accessible but outstandingly beautiful location
Goeden Ywen Cottage dates back to the 1600s and is situated next to the farmhouse on a working sheep farm where we breed Texel and Welsh Lleyn pedigree sheep.There are stupendous views from the Farm over the Bristol Channel to Holme Islands and Somerset . In spring there are bluebells in our 3 acre woodland
The cottage is within 5 minutes drive up a country lane from the centre of Cwmbran where there is excellent shopping with M&S, Next ,Asda & Sainsbury with Pontnewydd village less than 2 miles for the Post Office, small stores, Newsagents ,Take aways, Fish & Chips and with the Queen pub 1/2 mile down the road for drinks & food.
